Anna Sui filled the runway with majorettes and a circus themed big tent backdrop by Sophia Fang on September 16th for her S/S 2010 show at NY Fashion Week.  Anna has become so much more than a fashion designer.  She is a lifestyle brand with her collaboration with Target based upon the hugely popular CW11 TV show GOSSIP GIRL.  In addition she also has her own line of cosmetics and footwear.

Her S/S 2010 fashion show in the large tent was inspired by a soon to be published book titled “Foale and Tuffin: The Sixties. A Decade in Fashion”.  Her ever so chic boho style exploded with plaids, florals and patchwork prints.  Mod tunics and colorblocked cardigans were layered over ruffly chiffon dresses.  Add her decorated line  of vintage inspired boots and the 52 piece collection was complete.  It is no surprise that she was awarded the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award by the CFDA this year.
