Despite the fact that the winner of Project Runway Season 6, Irina Shabayeva, just shot her spread for Marie Claire Magazine, Lifetime TV has announced the new cast of Designers lined up to compete for the title of “America’s Next Top Designer” on Season 7 of PROJECT RUNWAY.
Set to air on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 10 pm et/pt on Lifetime TV this season will showcase the talent of 8 females and 8 male designers who will live at the Atlas apartments in NYC and return to the workroom at Parsons. Heidi Klum will host again along with mentor Tim Gunn.
The youngest designer, Jesus Estrada, is 21 years old and a freelance designer. He lives in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico. The most senior member is 47 year old Pamela Ptak. Pamela is a full-time fashion designer & part-time college fashion design instructor from Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

MODELS OF THE RUNWAY will also return at 11:00PM ET/PT, beginning January 14, 2010.
Mercedes-Benz NY Fashion Week Fall 2010 Collections will be shown from February 11-18, 2010 at Bryant Park. This is the final season showing at Bryant Park. The Spring collections will move to Lincoln Center in September 2010.
