It started with the Monogram Collection sold at a limited number of stores. Then came the Heritage Collection. Banana Republic is now preparing to launch a year round resort capsule collection called Luxe Leisure.
The 40-piece collection will include swimwear, tunics and other beach attire and will be sold 12 months a year at its warm weather stores, as well as a handful of other locations. The collection will be available in stores starting late March.
Luxe Leisure will retail for about $29.50 to $110 and will be a collection designed for woman only.
“We’re trying to capture the needs of the customer,” said Simon Kneen, Banana Republic’s creative director and executive vice president.
