The wedding of the year that was shrouded in secrecy has happened. On Saturday, July 31, 2010 former first Daughter Chelsea Clinton wed Marc Mezvinsky.
Chelsea Clinton wore a custom Vera Wang strapless silk organza wedding gown with a wide beaded and crystal waistband. Vera Wang also designed the bridesmaid’s gowns and was a guest at the wedding. The bridesmaids wore a strapless bias cut lavender chiffon gown with a side drape and contrasting plum bow.
The mother-of-the-bride and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton wore a berry red embroidered silk gazar gown by Oscar de la Renta. Bill Clinton looked handsome as he escorted his only daughter down the aisle wearing a black tuxedo by Christopher Bailey for Burberry. The groom also wore Burberry.
The wedding was held at Astor Court Estates in Rhinebeck, New York.
The guest list included Ted Danson, Mary Steenburgen and other esteemed celebrities and politicians.
