Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will take place in NYC at Lincoln Center from September 8th through September 15th. During that week Designers will introduce their Spring 2012 collections to the media. An announcement was made today by IMG Fashion, the production company behind NY Fashion Week, that 30 runway shows will be streamed live on YouTube’s Live from the Runway channel at www.youtube.com/liverunway. You Tube and Maybelline will launch this channel on September 1st with live shows beginning the opening day of NY Fashion Week, September 8th. The public will be given access to 30 live runway shows in addition to backstage beauty looks, interviews, trends and how-to videos.
For those who do not have access to a computer when a show is streaming live you may join in by watching on your mobile device using newly added mobile live streaming feature accessible at m.youtube.com/liverunway. Shows will be archived and available to watch at a later time as well.
