The next Fashion Designer to collaborate with Macy’s has been announced. Italian Designer and red carpet darling Giambattista Valli will design a 17 piece capsule collection to be sold at 225 Macy’s stores nationwide and macys.com/impulse starting on October 26th. The pieces which are feminine, ruffled and rocker chic will retail for $50.00 to $150.00.
Looking over the collection one can find the staple of the Giambattista Valli woman, the ruffled party dress. Valli is known best for his feminine sophisticated yet flirty designs that capture the essence of french couture. The collection also goes toward rocker chic with a leopard coat, short sleeve blouse and leopard print skinny pants.
“This capsule reflects my enduring loves, but is really a celebration of my biggest inspiration of all — the energy and vitality of women themselves,” Valli explains. “This collection is a passport into my world and a chance to experience the passion and romance of my house and Paris itself.”
Looking over the collection I am already lusting after the organza black skirt with the tiny rosettes which retails for $99.00. Time to start shopping for the holidays.
