Gossip Girl star Blake Lively is the new face of Italian luxury brand Gucci’s new fragrance Première. Nicolas Winding Refn, the director of the 2011 film “Drive” shot the spot at the historic Sheats Goldstein Residence, which will be screened at the Venice Film Festival on Sept. 1st.
24 year-old Lively exudes old hollywood glamour dressed in a body-hugging Gucci golden gown as she gazes out a glass elevator window onto the sprawling landscape of Beverly Hills and roams the desert walking toward a large fan.
“In conceiving this fragrance I was inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour and the iconic leading ladies of Hollywood’s golden era,” Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said in a statement. “Blake’s unique style and charisma brings that allure to life in a very contemporary way.”
The fragrance is set to go on sale in the U.K. in late July and worldwide this September.
“It is a pleasure to collaborate with Frida,” Lively said in a statement. “I admire the qualities of the Gucci Première woman and feel honored to represent the fragrance.”
