Now known for inventing the word “twerking” Miley Cyrus is about to do it again. She had everyone buzzing after her performance and tongue wagging with Robin Thicke at the 2013 VMA’s and now she is taking her act on the road with her Bangerz World Tour.

Miley recently told MTV  “Our whole tour is literally based on animals,” adding that the majority of the creatures are actually “imaginative animals” designed by “Ren & Stimpy” creator John Kricfalusi. Miley added “I don’t have a hard time making fun of myself, so the whole thing is making the way people perceive me and doing that even more, be the character myself. That’s what I think I’ve been representing, more than anything, in the past year. Being fun and carefree, that’s really what the show represents … we’re definitely bringing some kitties.

Now Italian Fashion Designer Roberto Cavalli has released some sketches of the costumes that Miley Cyrus will be wearing for her upcoming Bangerz world tour which kicks off February 14 in Vancouver, British Columbia. The costumes are quite “Miley” with hot pants, sheer bra tops, sequins, sparkles, leopard and python print and one tight very sheer black unitard.

On his fashion blog the designer announced “I admire Miley Cyrus… a great artist, a complete artist! Miley has always been able to master her success, first as an actress and then as a singer… Miley breaks the mold, improvises, provokes and amazes as only a great artist can do… It must be recognized that Miley has put to good use the artistic genes inherited from her father, a famous American country singer, but at the same time she has been able to create her own space.

I have always admired the style of Miley in wearing my clothes and I am therefore happy to give my contribution to her “Bangerz The World Tour” with special clothes that I designed just for her… Miley has a perfect body and so I wanted to highlight her figure but at the same time create costumes that would allow maximum freedom of movement on stage… Designing clothes for a performing artist is never a simple task. You have to be able to tune into the “mood ” of the artist, creating clothes that are able to interpret the theme of the show as a natural complement… with Miley it was simple because of the harmony which exists between her and my creations… we are both nonconformist and we both love to experiment… to surprise… to innovate… I’m sure her new show will be a success, a success that Miley Cyrus fully deserves for the commitment and professionalism that shines through in every one of her performances… Go Miley go!”

Marc Jacobs, Jeremy Scott, The Blonds and Bob Mackie will also be designing pieces for her Bangerz world tour wardrobe.

Tickets for Miley’s Bangerz Tour can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.
