Fashion and lifestyle designer Tory Burch has collaborated with Fitbit, a health and fitness company, to design a line of fitness trackers you might actually wear even if they were not designed with fitness in mind. The three piece collection launched today at both Tory Burch and at Fitbit and includes a Metal Hinged Bracelet ($195), Fret Pendant Necklace ($175) and Silicone Printed Bracelet ($38). All of these fashion forward accessories have been designed exclusively for Fitbit and available now for pre-order. Wearable tech is no longer for just the fitness crowd as proven by these stunning pieces.
The metal hinged bracelet is made of solid brass and inspired by Tory Burch’s iconic open fretwork. It is as beautiful as any of the other bracelets we have seen at Tory Burch.
The metal fret pendent necklace can be dressed down with a pair of shorts or up your game with a casual sundress.
The printed silicone bracelet features the Tory Burch T logo covering a lattice pattern and comes in two colors (Fuschia or Navy).
“The fusion of fashion and technology is important to the widespread adoption of wearable technologies,” explains Melanie Chase, Fitbit’s product marketing manager. “We believe users are looking for more ways to wear their tracker to match their everyday style, mood and activities.”
The Fitness Tracker called the Fitbit Flex is sold separately ($99.95) and slides into any of the pieces. The Fitbit Flex tracks steps, distance and calories burned and shows you how you’re stacking up against your daily goals. At night, it tracks your sleep cycle, helps you learn how to sleep better and wakes you silently in the morning. Access your stats anytime on your computer, tablet, iPhone or Android.
Now you can be both fitness conscious and chic all at the same time. Finally, a fashionable reason to hit the gym.
