It’s a finger party and you are invited!! J. Crew has taken on another designer collaboration. Following in the footsteps of their CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) collab with Public School who created a line of womenswear and a line of killer heels from British shoe designer Sophia Webster the next designer J.Crew has chosen to showcase is the Brooklyn-based accessory designer Catbird.
Catbird has a brick-and-morter retail boutique in the trendy Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. They are best known for their thin and stackable line of 14 carat gold jewelry. Their signature knuckle rings have been spotted on taste makers, stylists, fashion editors, and girls about town.
The Catbird for J. Crew collection consists of 10 pieces in total and includes 6 mix and match rings, 3 pairs of dainty earrings and a changeling necklace. The entire collection is made of 14 carat gold including the oh so in demand “lovecat” ring with 2 cat ears created as a homage to the boutique’s name and available online only. The complete collection ranges in price from $40 to $360 and is available for purchase at jcrew.com.
