Kenzo X H&M

The Fashion Designer Collaboration is not a new event in the retail world. This for lucky consumers of fashion has been going on for quite some time now with huge fanfare. It usually pairs a haute couture fashion house with a mid-level or fast fashion store to make items with their designer name on them more accessible to the masses, who might not have $3,000 to spend on a couture gown, handbag, or other wearable accessory. That’s why when H&M, one of the most popular mainstream fashion stores in the world, collaborates with a designer it is breaking news. A phenomenal deal if you can purchase a few of the pieces.

Fashionistas scope out these exclusive launches way in advance to procure the best selections of one-of-a-kind items that are going to be sold out in under an hour with lines that run for city blocks. One of the coolest collaborations for Fall 2016 is KENZO coming to H&M. The collection will include both Women and Mens apparel and accessories so everyone can join in and be a part of this next collaboration.

Kenzo is a global design powerhouse created in the 1970’s by Kenzo Takada. Since they are now owned and operated by Louis Vuitton SE (LVMH), known as the pinnacle of French luxury accessories and clothing since 1993 when they became Kenzo’s parent company, Kenzo is now bigger than ever before.

We can’t wait to share with everyone the world of KENZO x H&M, with all of its creativity, fun and love of fashion,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor at H&M.

Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are Kenzo’s creative co-directors making fashions that are spotted on celebrities, rock stars, and fashionistas around the world. You can’t miss their signature “tiger print” shirt with a nod to effortless style that has an offbeat edge in which people covet.

With this collaboration with H&M we want to think big, push the boundaries and bring the new energy of KENZO to everyone around the world,” says Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, Creative Directors at KENZO.

For H&M, Kenzo’s collaboration aims to be bigger than last year’s Balmain frenzy. This limited time capsule collection will launch in 250 stores and online November 3, 2016. So mark your calendars to look for their signature chic Parisian style with some rocking flair in the form of dresses, shirts, high-waisted leggings, and a unique oversized faux leather jacket with plush pink shearling inside. Very fashion forward and city friendly, with wearable styles that will be coveted for years to come!!
