Emmys 2011 red carpet fashion breakdown: Who Wore What

On Sunday, September 18th the 2011 Emmy Awards took place at the Nokia Theater in LA.  The red carpet arrivals were once again the highlight of my evening.  Let’s take a look at Who Wore What.

A big trend on the red carpet was…. Red

(From left to right): Nina Dubrov looked glamorous in a red Donna Karan mermaid gown and Neil Lane necklace; Actress Kate Winslet is wearing a red V-Cut Elie Saab gown, Roger Vivier Boite de Nuit bag and Cartier jewelry; Sofia Vergara of Modern Family chose a coral Vera Wang custom made one-shouldered crepe gown accessorized with large green/gold earrings.

Some top picks above included Claire Danes sparkling in Oscar de la Renta blue georgette strapless sequin embroidered gown; TV Personality Cat Deeley chose a Monique Lhuillier Resort 2012 gown; Actress Julia Stiles walked the red carpet wearing a ruched lavender gray Georges Hobeika Fall 2011 Couture gown.

Other top nods for fashion do’s: Evan Rachel Woods channels 40’s hollywood glam in an Elie Saab Fall 2011 gown with Salvatore Ferragamo black pumps, Judith Leiber clutch and Fred Leighton jewelry; Actress Gwyneth Paltrow took a risk in a black Emilio Pucci top and skirt with a bare midriff. She added Neil Lane jewelry and Roger Vivier ’Spider’ sandals; Heidi Klum, the 38 year old model, supports Season 4 Project Runway winner and wears a Christian Siriano oyster chiffon dress.
