Steve Madden to Launch Lounge and Sleepwear Line

Rihanna looked stunning doing it. Ryan Reynolds looked cool doing it. Salma Hayek is even doing it. Now Steve Madden wants you to do it: wear pajamas in public.

Just as celebrities bring the pajama trend to the forefront, this Fall 2012, Steve Madden will unveil “Mad Crazy Dreams” lounge and sleepwear. The line was created in collaboration with Carole Hochman Design Group, known for its premium and luxurious styles, to introduce fun and feminine designs that are fashioned to the lifestyle of today’s 18-25 year old girl–active, style-conscious, on the go.

We couldn’t be happier to work with the Carole Hochman creative team on our new sleepwear line,” said Rob Schmertz, Steve Madden Brand Director. “Their vision for the collection has resulted in flattering, fun and stylish styles that will undoubtedly meet the comfort needs of the young contemporary market.”

“Mad Crazy Dreams” features a mix and match collection of sleepwear tops and bottoms, as well as matched PJ sets, all embellished with graphic prints, bright colors and sweet cuts, and set on soft comfy cotton or lace fabric. Made to wear for the long-awaited bedtime, a much-needed coffee run or even a hot study date, this functional lounge and sleepwear line is sure to be on every girl’s wish list.

The line will initially be sold this fall exclusively in all Nordstrom stores in the U.S. and on www.nordstrom.com, as well as in all Hudson Bay Stores in Canada and on the store’s Web site, www.thebay.com, beginning on August 1, 2012. Retail prices range from $22-$58. The line will then be distributed nationally in Spring 2013 to all major department stores and better specialty stores.
