Banana Republic x Anna Karenina LAUNCH

Inspired by the glamour of Anna Karenina and reinterpreted for modern day Banana Republic announces the launch of their holiday collection.  Curated by the film’s Costume Director Jacqueline Durran, the line was created to celebrate the season in grand 21st century fashion.

The story unfolds in its original late-19th-century Russia high-society setting and powerfully explores the capacity for love that surges through the human heart, from the passion between adulterers to the bond between a mother and her children. As Anna (Ms. Knightley) questions her happiness, change comes to her family, friends, and community.

It’s really about taking key elements of that time period—sophisticated color, fabrics, and beautiful detailing—and translating that into an updated wardrobe,” Simon Kneen, Banana Republic’s Creative Director and Executive Vice President of Design

To celebrate the launch of this opulent collection Banana Republic is hosting a launch party called After 5 on Nov 1 starting at 5pm.  At select stores enjoy complimentary refreshments while taking 25% OFF your full priced purchases.  Cardmembers are offered 35% OFF full priced items.
