Lacoste Footwear has just unveiled it’s first exclusive sneaker collaboration with Urban Outfitters. These women’s sneakers take inspiration from Lacoste’s tennis roots and the huge preppy and court trends for Spring/Summer 2014. They just hit stores and are available exclusively at Urban Outfitters online.
The Marcel sneaker unit is a classic court silhouette. Both sneakers feature the authentic René Lacoste in sock that was used in the original Lacoste sneaker, made back in 1963.
Each shoe embodies one of the two essential elements of Lacoste’s heritage: France & Tennis.
Marcel UO1
The red, white, and blue trio are the Marcel UO1’s nod to the brand’s French lineage with a call out to the French flag on the heel webbing and tongue.
Marcel UO2
The vintage white and green colorway calls out the brands tennis roots with a special surprise on the tongue – a brief description and history of the brand’s founder, René Lacoste!
