It’s a plaid, plaid world at Target this fall!!!

With summer temperatures climbing and retailers already selling pre-fall collections from the runways, the fall season will be here before any of us know it. Thankfully, Target is already in the process of rolling out an entirely new fall collaboration from famed fashion designer Adam Lippes, which is guaranteed to have you mad for plaid. Infusing plaids of all types, the limited-edition capsule collection is going to offer a new take on modern fall clothing and accessories that is sure to take this cross-generational trend to a whole new level. Launching Sept 27, the capsule collection will include traditional tartan design elements on everything from apparel to accessories for women and men, home furnishings, and even pet goods. Prices range from $1.99 to $179.99 on over 360 items.

Having just launched a collection at online luxury retailer Net-A-Porter, CFDA member Adam Lippes is now at the helm of this innovative plaid takeover. The capsule collection will include over 50 different items with Adam’s signature buffalo plaid design inspirations in the most spectacular way possible. The collection can be purchased directly from or in-store.

From trench coats to purses, to scarves and button-down shirts, and even on lampshades perfect for any room in your home, the new capsule collection from Target is definitely one that will make an instant and amazing impact! Classic and extremely sophisticated, plaid has been a global wardrobe staple for decades, but never before in the cool and very on-trend way that Adam has infused together for Target. He takes traditional plaid and takes it up a few notches and then some, including the design on everything imaginable, such as plaid diapers, paper towels and even mouthwash.

Plaid has been a defining element of style for every generation, and we felt it would be the perfect centerpiece for this design moment.” said Kathee Tesija, Target’s executive vice president.

Coordinating perfectly with a wide range of different styles and colors, plaid, especially black and white plaid can be mixed and matched to be anything but “usual”. Adam Lippes for Target is sure to bring plaid front and center, exactly how it’s supposed to be. Ushering in the fall season beautifully; the capsule collection is being called the Plaid Revolution, and this revolution will definitely be one you won’t want to miss out on!
